Volunteer: How to stay involved


Hello Friends,

During the social distancing period, we have some ways you can support the men and women in our programs.

One way to do this is to share a video message of encouragement through Facebook and tag The Foundry. Another way to show your support is by creating care packages from the security of your own home and safely drop them off at the designated locations listed below. Anyone can help; Sunday school classes, small groups, families or individuals are all encouraged to participate!


Women Program Participants:
1800 4th Avenue North, Bessemer, AL 35020

Drop off times: Monday – Friday 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

  • Care package items to send – Arts & Crafts, Tie Dye kits, flowers, mulch, DVD’s, books, snacks, items the ladies can cook, Shampoo, Conditioner, hygiene items, laundry detergent, group games
  • Meals for the ladies on campus: Saturday and Sunday. (Enough to feed 25 women)
  • Notes, letters, or words of encouragement
  • Social distancing parade

Men Program Participants:
1804 6th Avenue North, Bessemer, AL 35020

Drop off times: Monday – Friday 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. 

  • Care package items to send – DVD’s, snacks, popcorn, canned drinks, hygiene items, shower shoes, group games
  • Meals for the men on campus: Saturday or Sunday. (Enough to feed 55 men)
  • Notes, letters, or words of encouragement
  • Social distancing parade

Men Program Participants (Farm):
575 County Road 1676, Cullman, AL 35058

Drop off times: Monday – Friday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

  • Care package items to send – DVD’s, snacks, popcorn, can drinks, hygiene items, shower shoes, group games
  • Meals for the men on campus: Saturday or Sunday. (Enough to feed 45 men)
  • Notes, letters, or words of encouragement
  • Social distancing parade

Let’s stay CONNECTED and stay SAFE! 

*Please do not purchase items or prepare/drop off care packages if anyone in your home is sick.
*During drop off, please leave items at the front office and follow social distancing procedures.
