My God is Present
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10 NIV
Father, I love You for who You are. My love for You is not based on anything You have done, or will do, for me. You are never changing; Your love is everlasting; Your presence is inescapable. You are worthy of all praise and honor!
Why do I let myself live in the moments when I think you’re not here. I play the “where are you, God?” game as if what’s going on is too hard for You. The truth is that nothing is ever too hard for You. You see the issue and work on my behalf long before I even know the issue exists. Every moment of the journey, You are with me. Your Holy Spirit is leading me, guiding me, and giving me all the grace I need for the journey. Thank you, Jesus!
May I be acutely aware of your presence in all situations. Open my eyes to see how You are moving, guard my heart against fear, and let the joy of Christ overflow from me to others.
