I am Chosen
John 15:16 (NIV)
16: You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.
What’s even more astounding to me is the reason He chose me. It’s not because of anything I have done or will do; it’s not because of what He’ll gain because of the choice. It is for the simple reason that He loves me. That’s it.
The Lord God of Heaven’s Armies chose us to be His because of His great love for us.
I believe if we truly grasped the reality of that truth, it would be all that would ever matter! Nothing could ever make us feel inferior or unworthy in any situation.
Heavenly Father,
We pray for God to surround all of The Foundry locations during this time and to keep all of our Program Participants and staff safe. We pray against the feelings of depression, anxiety, and worthlessness. We hope our Program Participants experience grace in new and powerful ways as they grow through the hardships presented during this season.
We praise God for our skilled staff who are navigating the new terrain. We pray for their safety and to rely on God for their daily needs. We pray that God looks over our financial burdens during this unprecedented time. Protect us spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically and in every way. We love You with our whole hearts. Jesus, thank you for choosing us. Amen
