  • Paul Barber, The Foundry Ministry’s Chief Financial Officer has enjoyed a distinguished career in business and ministry 40 years in Birmingham, Alabama. Early in his career he was a practicing CPA at Ernst & Young working with clients such as Intergraph Corporation, Russell Athletic and McGriff, Seibels & Williams. Paul spent 25 years in a variety of leadership roles at McGriff one of the most dynamic and successful insurance agencies in the U.S. Paul also led Valent Group as President for 4 years. Valent is the Insurance division of EBSCO, a Forbes 200 Privately Held Company. Valent was recognized as one of Birmingham’s Best Places to Work under his leadership.
  • His ministry work has included 5 years as a Coach and Mentor working along side Richard Simmons at The Center for Executive Leadership. He is the Founder of Soul Care Coaching a “life on life” ministry designed to help young adults discover their call to minister Monday through Friday in the marketplace. He is an Elder at Altadena Valley Presbyterian where he and his wife Vicki have been members for 25 years. The passion of their life is the love they have for their four grown children and nine grandchildren.
  • Paul has served on several non-profit boards including Vapor International, Her Choice Women’s Center, Birmingham YMCA and Well Spring Group.
