Joey Daly, Chief Development Officer

•  Joey has over ten years of experience in the nonprofit sector and is a Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE). Currently, At The Foundry, he oversees external affairs for the organization, including donor relations, fundraising, volunteer engagement, marketing, and public relations. His greatest passion is raising awareness for such an amazing organization and connecting people to our cause to influence change.
• Prior to his tenure with The Foundry, Joey served as Executive Director of The Alabama Sports Foundation and held various development positions with the American Heart Association and The University of Alabama Birmingham.
• A native of Picayune, MS, Joey earned his Bachelor’s degree in history from Rhodes College and a Master’s degree from Georgia State University. While at Rhodes, Joey was a four-year letterman on the basketball team, serving as team captain his final two years.
• Joey is married to Laura Ann Meyers and they have two beautiful daughters, Christian and Ann Sanders. The couple currently resides in Vestavia Hills and attends Dawson Memorial Baptist Church.
